FRANCESCO BUZZI

Francesco Buzzi  lives in the Italian city of Ferrara where he was born in 1970.
He has a degree in Architecture from the University of Venice.

He has Collaborated as an illustrator for the magazine Nick of the Centre of Information for Young People of Ferrara and he has created different graphic projects.

His Illustrations have won first place in varied competitions:  

- “Il Corto Letterario e l’Illustrazione” (Varese)  2011 

- “Premio Giunchiglia” (Albano Laziale),

- “Striscie di Jazz 2012” (Piacenza),

- Concorso d’Illustrazione “La Settimana Rossa del 1914” (Fano);

He has received 2nd Place in the Concorso Internazionale d’Illustrazione per l’Infanzia “Scarpetta d’Oro 2014” and 1st place in the Fondazione Esposito e Qualità Tecnica nell’edizione 2015 of the same competion.

In  2013 he has been selected for the Concorso “Disegna le Copertine Salani”, ( Casa Editrice Salani).
